Mr. Witham began his career in education teaching Earth and Space Science to high school students in Virginia. During that time, he also coached varsity football and varsity basketball and served as a Student Connection Coach, supporting students’ growth both in and out of the classroom.

In 2019, he transitioned into school leadership at the middle school level, serving as an Assistant Principal in the York County School Division in Virginia.

Mr. Witham joined the Gorham School District in 2023 as the Assistant Principal of Gorham Middle School and became the school’s Principal in 2024.

Ms. Nickerson began her career in education working in special purpose private schools before transitioning to public education in 2016. Over the past 15 years, Mrs. Nickerson has developed a deep passion for supporting students, staff, and families in ways that foster growth and success.

She has been part of the Gorham School District since 2021, first serving as an Instructional Strategist at Gorham High School and then at Gorham Middle School. In 2024, she stepped into the role of Assistant Principal at GMS.
